Thankful November: The Wonder Boys

I could not possibly be more thankful for my husband and two sons. They love me, encourage me, challenge me, and make me want to be the best person that I can possibly be. Sometimes I look at them and wonder how I got so blessed as to be able to share my life with these incredible guys.

I look up to each of them in various ways:

Jason is the strongest, most reliable man I know. He keeps me steady when my inclination is to go running around in a crazy circle, flailing in a sea of my own over the top emotions. I look up to the way he focuses and accomplishes his God-given dreams with such sincerity and integrity.

Joey is so kind and his heart for God inspires me. He has such a genuine sweetness when he prays. I look up to his simple approach to faith and how he doesn’t allow the cares of this world to infiltrate his pure relationship with God.

Gavin is impossibly charming. He gives the world’s greatest hugs. I look up to the way he approaches others – with no preconceived perceptions or limitations, just with genuine interest and warmth.

Today and everyday I am thankful for my handsome men. They’re the best!
