Hope for the Hopeless
I’ll admit that this week and all of it’s many horrific events across the US has caused me to feel more than a little down. My words seem inadequate right now when trying to encourage others, because, frankly, I’m also in need of some hope. These are the times when you and I can go straight to the Source and find those words of healing and comfort that we are in such desperate need of today and always.
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
– John 16:33
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
-Revelation 21:4
“For He Himself is our peace…”
– Ephesians 2:14a
When we don’t have answers, we can go to His word. He did not leave us with guidance, or without comfort in the form of His Holy Spirit. Go with God today. He is constant in an ever-shaking world.
