Quick Thought: Thanking Him vs. Asking Him

It may be a little cliche to write about thankfulness in the month of November, but I feel thankful today. What’s more, I feel challenged. How many times do we pray for something for days, week, months, maybe even years, only to finally receive an answer, shoot up a 30-second prayer of thanks and then move on? I’m as guilty as they come, but I want to change that. I want my prayers of thanks for God’s answered prayers to outlast the length of the original petition.
